Re-elect amy for 15th division circuit court


Amy Dunn Moore has more than two decades of legal experience ranging from corporate law practice to advocating for equal access to justice for all Arkansans.  Since 2001, she has served as a Circuit Judge for the 15th Division of the 6th Judicial District, a position that serves Pulaski and Perry Counties. Since assuming this role, she has resolved nearly 10,000 family law and estate cases, working through a backlog of cases that accumulated during COVID. She has also  been instrumental in the launch of a domestic violence pilot project spearheaded by the Arkansas Coalition Against Domestic Violence.


Prior to her election to the bench in 2020, Moore worked for more than a decade as the Executive Director for the
Arkansas Access to Justice Commission and Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation. There, she worked tirelessly to help low-income Arkansans with their civil legal needs through policy initiatives, resource development, public education, and legislative advocacy.  Moore previously worked as an associate at Kutak Rock LLP  and Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C., where she provided legal counsel to nonprofit and for-profit health care clients, including hospitals, pharmacies, therapy providers, long-term care, and mental health providers. 


Over the course of her career, Moore has provided pro bono help to dozens of families in securing guardianships for adult family members with developmental disabilities and serious mental illnesses.  Moore graduated cum laude from
Hendrix College with a BA in Psychology, and she received a Juris Doctor with highest honors from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law


Moore is actively involved in our community and works to make it a better place for our all families. Moore is a board member for the
Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation and Arkansas Bar Foundation. In 2007, she co-founded Harmony Health Clinic, where she served as a board officer until 2013. She is a former trustee for the Arkansas United Methodist Conference and the First United Methodist Church Board of Trustees, a past board member of Gertrude Remmel Butler Child Development Center, and a former board member of the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care. 


Amy Dunn Moore has been recognized as a Hendrix College Distinguished Young Alumna (2010), as one of ten national recipients of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Community Health Leader Award in 2012, as a recipient of the Arkansas Bar Association’s Lawyer Community Legacy Award (2013), as UALR William H. Bowen School of Law’s Outstanding Alumna for Public Service (2013) and Alumna of the Decade (2016), The Marie Interfaith Civil Leadership Award (2015), and the Justice Annabelle Imber Tuck Distinguished Woman of the Year Award (2019).  Moore lives in Little Rock with her husband and three daughters.
